Installing it
Android asks for permission before installing anything that did not come from the Play Store. This is normal, and it only asks once.
- Download the file using the button above, on the phone itself.
- Open it from the notification, or from your Downloads folder.
- Allow installing from this source when Android asks. It takes you straight to the setting; turn it on and press back.
- Press Install, then open the app and sign in with your Local Metal Detector account.
If nothing happens when you open the file, check your browser was allowed to download it — some phones block the download itself rather than the install.
iPhone
Not yet. Apple does not allow installing outside the App Store, so the iOS version has to go through review — it is not ready to submit. The website works on an iPhone in the meantime.
