2019 I was looking at a hobby or sport I can do in my spare time, and maybe make some new friends, and there was nothing really that interested me, that was until I came across a tv series called Aussie Gold hunters, and that looked like fun, so I bought a equinox 800 and took a expensive gamble that I would like this hobby, and I do, 7years later and I’ve helped countless people find their lost items., not all have been successful, I’ve dug up 118 Gold rings. No one in Wellington has ever come close the last I checked, might be one now. , I’ve removed and recycled a lot of trash. Found homes for all my finds. Made a lot of areas cleaner and safer. I’ve Dug tens of thousands up in silver and coins., and met a lot of cool people like me, helped many out with advice and tips. and spoke to alot of locals and heard their stories about the area. . Lately I don’t get out as much, just too busy. And there’s better things to do, backpain is also a factor. but I still like this hobby and helping others any way I can. I specialise in beach’s and waist deep water.
